Laura Heine Collage Quilting - Holiday Edition
In this class, you will learn how to apply the popular collage technique of fused applique to your favorite Laura Heine holiday pattern.
Bring your non-quilty/sewy friends too - no sewing necessary to make this collage! Only sewing required is when it's finished!
Please arrive 15 minutes before class in time to set up so class can start on time.
We have a fridge and microwave in our kitchen for your use if you'd like to bring your lunch.
Supplies:
- Gather all your fun scraps for backgrounds, cuttable, and underlays to bring with you. Include some "low volume" prints for background. (Classmates tend to share.)
- Pattern-Ease
- Steam-a-seam 2
- #2 pencil
- Karen K. Buckley Perfect Scissors in size Medium (blue handles) *recommended
- Applique pressing sheet or fusing mat
- Small rotary cutter and mat
- Utility scissors for cutting paper
